set at turn vs huge overbet, your play?

...if i push... what pot odds am i giving myself considering Op has $12 left?

i will be putting $21 into a $10 pot and final pot will be $44 if Op calls.

If you see a possible straight in an unraised pot someone generally has it, its almost impossible to put him to have a higher set, I personally would fold this too since it was an unraised pot no worries, good fold.

i havent said the out come yet... what im woundering is what equity i have on pushing.

I think my push gives me 2-1 pot odds if he calls. Odds to hit one of 10 outs with 1 card to come is 4-1 yes? In which case I think im giving myself bad pot odds if he calls.

with zero outs i have $0 equity on making my push, with 10 outs and 4-1 odds I think in this situation i have an equity of $10. Considering my push is $20, if i get called im losing $10 or half my raise. can anyone reason with this and maybe add to it? im averaging out the pot / bets here to make things easier.

Even if he has the straight you still have 10 outs to a boat on the river. And it seems HIGHLY unlikely he has a higher set, since he would have raised pre-flop with AA QQ or TT. I put him all in.

I pushed. The thing is the players at this pokerroom really aren't as bad as others and his turn bet screamed he had the straight... but I pushed thinking I may be giving myself pot odds/reasonable equity.. upon working it out i didnt. nm thanks for input.

He could be playing the nut straight there but there's really many other hands that would play the same way. I would be tempted to fold if I had a read on him, but generally I would call and see the river. You have 10 outs for the boat and I would likely call regardless. If you do make the the 10 outs and he is holding the nut straight you will take his whole stack based on his play there. Taken as a whole I think calling is positive.
