Your mistakes are playing the hands at all - fold pre-flop on both.

At a push, the first hand is playable, but you didn't play it very well. The guy you are facing has put in a more than pot-sized bet, so he's at least repping strength - 2 pair, maybe, or an overpair. So your raise is too weak - you're not pushing him hard, you're not giving him bad pot odds, and if he has a half-decent hand he's likely to call. Your bet on the turn is at least a decent size (still only half the pot though), but the 2h was SO unlikely to have helped you that he could call it with confidence. The only chance you have here is to push on the river when an overcard comes - but at this level I expect he'd probably call you anyway.

You totally deserved to lose the second hand. It's a simple fact - A6o from early position should never ever ever be played in a 10-handed ring game. Ever.

Well, I'm still a beginner myself, only been playing Real Money for about a week, but I did see what I'd personally consider mistakes with both hands (this is without yet knowing the .25 tables.):

In the first one, you flopped a medium top pair with a great kicker, but I would've been a bit more cautious since he opened with a pot sized bet and a good number of players in the hand. Maybe he's just trying to scare everyone away, but with the possibility of an overpair or a set backing the bet up, I probably would have stepped away at that point. However, if you observed him to be a very loose, aggressive player, then I could see the call being a bit safer, but still pretty dangerous.

On the second, I personally wouldn't have played that hand, much less raised it, so you weren't too well off from the start. The 3 faces that flopped, while giving you a straight draw, also paired any decent hand in the mix. Since everyone was folowing your 4xBB into the flop, one of them probably hit a pair, maybe even a two pair, so regardless of who would do the raising you'd likely have to fold anyways.

fold preflop both hands. these hands are good examples of reasons why you fold these preflop.

Yeah, you're a little too impatient. Wait for better spots to put your money in. Disciplined beginners get better. Undisciplined beginners bust out.

As you start out, try to learn how to play tight/aggressive. Your VP$IP% (voluntarily put money in the pot percentage) should be 25% at the most. 20% would be even better. (>15% is UBER-TIGHT).

If you don't know what your VP$IP % is, get PokerTracker. It's free for 1,000 hands still as far as I know.

I'm sure you're learning that those 2 hands, while looking sexy with the A or K, become ugly with the kicker. Fold preflop

I personally like the limp with Kxs with all those limpers + position for flush value, but thats just me ;-)
