Fishy play by me????
I admit that I was on tilt a little bit, but I still don't think my call on the turn was that bad considering I was pretty sure that a 2 or A on the river would win for me.***** Hand History for Game 2278726541 *****

1) Next time don't be so confident that a river ace is a clean out when your playing A5o.
2) Don't call a raise w/A5o.
-
he might have some pair with ace kicker, so that when that ace comes you get a pair of aces and he gets two pair! bad news for you lol!
Also, fold A5o pre-flop, its a complete crap hand.
I'd say fold the turn if you dont fold pre-flop. you're drawing to a 4 outer. Might be worth it if he pays you off completely which is he what he did.

Sorry, but yes it was fishy......The flop call was not terrible if you thought an A or 5 would win it for you, you were getting EXACTLY the right odds to call, you could not call any more than you did......However, you have to consider maybe the Ac, 2c are tainted to a flush draw giving you bad odds to call..........Turn call was terrible, you werent getting anywhere close to right pot odds to hit.
Fold Preflop : ).

Fold preflop.
But otherwise I like it. Your straight+over draw gives you a 28% chance with two cards to come. The odds on the A are given by the pot but the odds on the 2 are implied, as you demonstrate.
Also, you need to start raising on these hands. You could have taken the pot on the flop with a pot-sized raise. Get some fold equity out of your hands and that will allow you to play garbage and nail 'em when the garbage pans out.
Read Brunson, he is the master of this style of aggressive play.

fold it preflop..
and another thing, playing at a NL25 table with a $11.65 stack is just bad value. Rebuy so you have your whole stack, you want to get paid off as much as you can when you hit the winner. If your playing with less because your tilted and worried about losing it then you shouldnt be playing at all
the turn call.. Some one having an A is likely.. so really your chasing a 2. bad odds. fold.
