First orbit... did I do anything wrong??

Hand #1 - I was gonna fold the turn but figured I'll show to show I don't raise with crap. Now with no read is the fold the right play here (which is what I wanted to do) - or do you still advocate the call to the end? This time with no reraise I was positive one of them had the K.

At 3/6 people bluff a lot less than at 2/4 and in my experience often less than at 5/10. Save yourself some money if you have no read trust that they have what they are representing most of the time.

Sorry about the converter. Didn't use it cuz I didn't have time to go through and change all the : to =. My computer is slow so playing two games at once and posting that was hard enough. But gotta agree about the drugs. :lol:

Now 5 max 10/20 on the other hand on paradise, is basically just a bluff fest - I'm still unsure what the theory is at that game, but damn people protect their blinds as if they were that last hit of junkie's smack.

Ok it's been edited with the converter.

Am I correct that my mistake in all of these was not looking at the pot when I was chasing? Hands 4 and 6 especially - fold on flop was the right move??

Or 7-8 outs ok to call the flop and try to get my K T or club (to go for runner runner) on hand 6?

Hand 2: Bet the turn
Hand 4: fold the flop, between the draws and 2 overcards you will get beat by SB or UTG+1 at showdown too often. Also, consider that you're drawing to the sucker one-off broadway straight. A great hand to pay someone off with.

when i play 3/6, i call down with middle pair alot and win. its mecca for bluffing.

Yeah hand 4 was dumb - I was tilting/forgetting I wasn't at a 5 player max table.

Hand 2 - why bet the turn? 6 outs not bad/maybe winning hand? If I bet out do i fold to a raise? If I just get called do I bet an empty river as well?

Hand 6 - ok how I played or too loose?

You might have the best hand, they might fold and you might catch up. The union of those says bet and fold to a raise.

The pre-flop call is a little loose, but I gave up being a pre-flop Nazi long ago. It really depends on how well you think you play compared to the lemmings. Post-flop the flop call is kinda loose, but the backdoor flush + over gives you enough extra to make it. Meh.
