    Default Texas law poker question

Before rooms found a legal loophole with time rake there were a lot of underground games that raked pots. One of these was run by a prominent Austin lawyer. Additionally, the game seems to have been crooked (apparently the lawyer who ran it may have used electronic equipment to cheat) Do players have any recourse a few years later

you want the law to give you justice for you partaking in an illegal game.

    Beware what you wish for.

Cheating is terrible. Not only from the point of view of the law, but also from the moral point of view. If you want to easily win money then try playing at Mod edit : link deleted or any other site that has an excellent reputation. I think that nothing can be worse than deceiving people. Wish you good luck and wisdom.

Believe that we should all not play at illegal games. Therefore, I always play only in proven online casinos and always pay taxes. Better to get less money but be free.

However, the chances of being able to recover your losses after several years might be low, especially if the game was run illegally. It's a shady situation if the game was rigged, and it's important to call out these types of behaviors to protect the integrity of the game. As for the lawyer who ran the game, if they were caught cheating, they could face consequences such as disbarment. And hey, if you're looking for a trustworthy online casino, check out MOD EDIT: Spam removed for some cool options.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think it's worth considering talking to one if you feel like you were cheated in a poker game.
