Exclamation Support the New iPoker Bill in Congress (PPA)

The Poker Players Alliance sent out a call to action email looking to poker players to show their support for the recent internet poker bill. It takes less than one minute of your time.

Click here to tell your lawmaker to support HR 2888!

Below is the email from the PPA:

A bi-partisan pro-online poker bill has just been released in Congress. Titled the Internet Poker Freedom Act, H.R. 2888, it is authored by Congressman Joe Barton (R-TX). Rep. Barton has been a terrific champion of our right to play, and we at PPA applaud him for reintroducing his legislation to provide a federal framework for states choosing to participate in interstate poker. Please take ONE minute of your day and help support this bill.

H.R. 2888 would increase liquidity (i.e., more players) while keeping licensing and regulation at the state level. This bill also puts us back on offense in the federal advocacy effort, rather than simply defending against billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson’s push to shut down state-licensed poker websites and bar new ones.

    Take Action!

Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ) and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) are already cosponsoring H.R. 2888. We need you to help us get more support for this bill. Please send a letter to your member of Congress, asking them to co-sponsor HR 2888.

I guess I can't help because I am not a US citizen? I would support it 100% otherwise.
