Default Sen. Reid to Consider Including Poker in i-Gaming Ban

    Source: Las Vegas Sun

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada may support an outright U.S. federal ban on ALL online gaming, including poker, according to a recent article published by the Las Vegas Sun.

Sen. Reid has up to this point supported a "carve-out" for poker when it comes to federal legislation in the United States, but apparently believes he may not be able to get any legislation approved in the Senate.

Therefore, he is now open to considering a stance that is more in-line with Sheldon Adelson's view that online poker should be banned as well as all other forms of i-Gaming in the U.S. -- with the obvious exception of state-sponsored lottery activity, horse racing, and fantasy sports, which already have carve-outs.

That's brutal, don't these senators have bigger things to worry about?
