1. For those unaware, PokerStars has helped FullTilt reach an agreement to payback their members. In a statement released through their blog, PokerStars has plans to own and operate FullTilt Poker to non-American players. As part of this deal, PokerStars hopes to refund non-US players their money within 90 days. American players will need to contact the US Department of Justice about their real-money account balances.

2. The "takeover" of FullTilt will not only facilitate payouts to their players, but it should save more than 200 jobs from current FTP employees. In today's economy, that's clearly better than the alternative. It seems PokerStars has not only done themselves a great service by acquiring FullTilt, but the poker community has benefited as well.

3. More good news from PokerStars, we are now less than a month away from the 2012 World Championship of Online Poker. Players will be able to satellite into all the events, some for as little as $1 or even FPPs. There are sure to be some nice promotions running as well, so check back here for updates on bonuses and free tournament tickets.

4. Though he wasn't able to participate in the Olympics, tennis sensation Rafael Nadal was able to sit down for a chat with PokerStars pro Vicky Coren. You can watch his interview, replays of past tournaments, and reports from live events on the new PokerStars media page.
