Seems bad for poker but not really shocking to up them profits.

I've done stupid things in the pit after very successful poker sessions.

Im not so convinced casino games are bad for poker. People will seek out casino games if they want to play them, whether it means they will go play Pokerstars' games, or another sites.

In theory, they would potentially bring a lot of new traffic to the site that otherwise wouldn't play poker. That in itself would increase the chance of more casino fish stumbling over to the poker games, just like tilted regs stumble over to the casino games.

I think its possible regulars in the poker games are overestimating the idea that their fish will play their games less. This is an argument I've heard but don't really buy into.

GGML you do make a good point about people who don't necessarily want to go gamble at the casino, but due to the access being all too easy, after a tilting poker session it can be practically unavoidable to just throw a few $ down on blackjack etc.

I have my own biases though which fuel my own theories, so it should be interesting to see how this actually unfolds.

Anything that can attract one more fish to the poker tables has to be a good thing. Not sure why those on 2p2 are making such a fuss about this.

I don't agree with this strategy of Pokerstars. As the name says it's Pokerstars and not CasinoStars. Anyway I won't play it and only plays who wants but I can't agree with this.
