Sent this to Bodog CS:
Your new software is worse by far than the old software. I will be leaving Bodog as soon as I find another site to play on.
Here are the reasons why:
1. Many lost connections during both cash and SNG games, which only happened occasionally before
2. The anonomous player idea is horrible. The "equal playing field" idea is absurd. When you play at a live casino, you try your best to get reads on opponents and exploit their tendencies. With the current software, it's hard to tell when player 2 leaves and a different player 2 arrives at the table or did player 2 just reload?.
3. The lack of note taking ability in the new software is absolutely rediculous.
-4. When you log on to the software, your preferences should be saved from the last login. To have to customize the cash games for only the type of games you want to play EVERY time you log in is rediculous. The software should save your table preferences.
5. The auto fold button does not work most of the time. You click it at the start of the hand and by the time the table gets around to you it is un checked. What's the point of having it?
6. If you click the "fold to any bet" button, your time bank appears for some reason.
7. I started off unclicking the card animation as that is how I usually play. I did not even have buttons displayed on the table (i.e., bet, fold , or the slider). This prevented me from even playing is the first few tables that I was in (one SNG and two cash games)
8. If I am forced to be a number at the table, at least have my position consistant for every table like the previous software (i.e., at the bottom of the table at all tables). At least if my screen name was there I could find my position easier.
9. If you are in a hand and top off you stack in case of losing the hand and you actually win the hand the software says something about having the max for the table and you can no longer add chips regardless of your stack size. The rebuy chips button is greyed out.
There are many more problems with the software that I have heard. These are just the ones that I have experienced.
