Default Leak Buster for Poker Tracker 4

The Poker Tracker version of Leak Buster now supports PT3 and PT4. Good news considering that the leakfinder app in PT4 isn't really that great.

Leakbuster is definitely a great program. Has been a big help for me.

Leak tracker just give you some general stat info, and will give you a good/bad grade, but it doesn't go in depth at all. If you are looking for in depth database analysis, Leakbuster is the way to go. Aside from the analysis, it has some great video content, and written content, etc.

    Thanks for the information!

i came across a similar thread, and even the PokerTracker guys recommended Leakbuster for players that are looking for more in depth self analysis. They said Leaktracker wasn't really meant to try and compete with Leakbuster. i recommend it for anyone that is playing cash games.

Threads like this make me think twice about certain programs and lose trust of their owners

I'm not sure which one you are referencing, but Leaktracker for PT4 is something that is included in the program and isn't meant to be used for extensive database analysis. it gives you some general stat ranges, and will give you a good/bad grade.

Where Leakbuster is a completely separate fully functional software program or i guess an app if you use HM2. It really goes thru your database pretty extensively, and gives you info on everything 3bet/4bet pots, Preflop/Postflop, biggest losses, trouble hands, position. full length video content that corresponds with the leaks you are displaying, etc i used PT3/PT4 and bought it for that, but then changed to HM2 and ended up buying it for HM2 as well. i've found it really helpful. i've said before the video content is worth the price alone IMO.

i'd say just do some reading or watch some vids on whichever one you are interested in. or maybe do the free trial. i think the trial for LB is kinda limited , but will give you an idea of what it does.

Poker definitely hasn't been easy for me to learn, and i've tried a bunch of training sites, books, etc. but something like this that can tell me specific things that i am doing wrong, things that are costing me $ at the tables is pretty huge.

I have Leakbuster and used to use it a lot when I played before Black Friday. It was a great program the last time I used it.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply anything towards you. I just feel like there's deceptive marketing going on in these forums.

That's cool. I'm just giving my 2 cents. As a newer player, i just found the Leakbuster software super helpful. And i guess if someone saw the free Leaktracker that is included in PT4 they may think they were similar. And Leakbuster is quite a bit more complex and feature filled.

Think i plugged one of my single biggest leaks this month, and hopefully have finally plugged it for good. Fingers crossed.

i guess they are supposed to be updating Leakbuster this week, sounds like some cool changes in the works. Just saw this -

"Goal is to release by the end of this week. I think we're going to be doing phases.

Primary changes are that everything is going to be contained within one screen, much easier to navigate and use. There's going to be a lot more content going up, as we're opening leak buster up to coaches. You'll also be able to export data, and get coaching directly from within leak buster.

The bigger task that we are doing a bulk of the current testing on is stake specific analysis. There's going to be greater emphasis put on specific leaks over other leaks depending on whether you primarily play micro, small, mid or high stakes. Right now, there's slight adjustments, and ranges change but only slightly, and things are not prioritized for every single potential leak. So going forward it will look at over 530+ leaks, and depending on stakes place an emphasis on certain areas over other areas.

Our goal is to really make leak buster a go to utility for any level of poker player. We have a lot of people involved on the project who are extremely good poker players, and their feedback has been really helpful."

The content in it is already really good, but that is excellent if they are adding new training content with new coaches. And sounds like it will be even more thoroughly finding leaks.

Is this for cashplayers only or can it also be used for a MTT player?

It is geared for Cash games, and they have a PLO version also i think.

I think on the site they have a link for something called SNG Booster that may be more tourney/sng related, but i don't really know anything about it, just happened to see the link.

I can definitely recommend Leakbuster if you play cash at all. It is a really cool program and has helped me quite a bit.

Can a mod lock this? This thread is full of hidden marketing.

Locking. If anyone is interested in Leak Buster, I'd ignore every one of "goathair"'s posts. Just google his username and you'll find all he posts about is Leak Buster and Note Caddy Edge. I'll post more information in a couple of days.
