HEM Stats NOW

This has happened to me a handful of times and at once recently I think it may have cost me a buy-in, so I'd really like to figure out a way to fix it. Basically, the way my HEM is set-up, when a player first joins, it displays no stats for them on my HUD. Even if they are sitting out until the blinds get to them and start playing from the big blind, no stats are visible. Only after they have played a hand do all of their stats show up shortly after the next deal. I would like either by default or by pressing some type of refresh button at the very least be able to see their stats immediately on the HUD. I got in trouble by assigning this new "unknown" player a read that I would give to a random or unknown and stacking off with something I probably wouldn't have given his stats and sample size that mockingly popped up on the next hand

Yeah, I'm curious about this too if anyone knows. I've been in a LOT of these situations, and it's quite frustrating. There has to be some way to force this to load before a hand is played.

I'm pretty sure I already do the fetch hands feature you linked to, but the problem is that it still won't display hundreds of hands you have for a player until they have already played a hand.

If a player has just joined and posted BB then HUD will not display for them until they have played their first hand. HEM reads hand histories only so it only knows they are there once they play a hand. There is no way for HEM/HUD to identify/display them before they play a hand.

If you've played them for hundreds of hands then you should have a read on them anyway without your HUD showing their actual stats. You should go with your memory of them. If you can't do that then just be really cautious for that first hand.

Jason when you join a table (without taking a seat yet) do you see stats pop up? If you don't see stats pop up when you are viewing a table your HEM prefetch is setup incorrectly. I had that option checked for a bit, but you need to make sure to point the path to the directory where your hand histories are going (the one that is in there is incorrect if you aren't seeing stats).
