Default Daniel Colman Wins SHRPO Main Event for $1.45 Million

Daniel Colman is at it again.

The 2014 $1 million buy-in "Big One for One Drop" champion just recorded his fourth 7-figure live event score in the last 4 1/2 months by winning the Semniole Hard Rock Poker Open Main Event (the one with a $2.5 million overlay).

I watched Colman's reaction via the PokerStars TV Live Stream we had available here at FlopTurnRiver. He actually smiled a couple of times but was otherwise stoic.

The feat is being deemed as the "greatest poker tournament run" in history by poker media outlets.

By the way, the young poker pro from Massachusetts is now #3 on the all-time live poker tournament money list (The Hendon Mob) with approximately $21.56 million, leaping ahead of Sam Trickett, Erik Seidel and Phil Ivey. He is behind only Antonio Esfandiari and Daniel Negreanu.

About $21 million of that total has come in 2014.

No, he had 100% of himself in the drop.

He must have the biggest net winnings by an absolute mile.

Nice 2,5 months, really. If it wouldn't be to his stance and actions after One Drop, he might very well have been next light-version Moneymaker for poker sites to dream about.
