    Default Well, hello there

I go by the handle Piscivorous. Real Name: Dave Stewart. Age: 51 years young.

Long-time member (10 years) and employee (5 years) of Internet Texas Holdem website.

Have been playing online here in the US since August 2003. Live FLHE in California since 1989.

I've been an SnG, MTT and FLHE player. I am now trying to figure out NLHE considering the dearth of FLHE on US-facing sites.

I've been lurking here for a few weeks at the invite of Eric Sprague.

I look forward to adding insight of what I know. I look for much insight on NLHE from my soon to be friends here.

Hey there Pi... nice that you've come out of lurking and made your first post.

NLHE is definitely the game with the most action for cash games, tournaments and SNGs. How are you finding it so far compared to Fixed Limit?

Best of luck to you and enjoy the boards!

Right now I am playing NL2, NL4 and NL5. It's a mixed bag to be certain. I make mistakes here and there, but so far the results are me winning stacks against horrid players occasionally or me losing to breathtaking suckouts where the money got in good.

Oddly enough, the local, live $3/$6 FLHE games are more loose than online $0.05/$0.010 FLHE or NL2-5.

I have a lot to learn however. I am nowhere near aggressive enough in NL yet. One of the things that bothers me is that I can't run HM on any of my sites except Carbon, so I can't get a bearing on whether I am horribly passive, slightly passive or moderately so.

I so miss PokerStars, FTP and OnGame!

you can then import your hands into hem. Alternatively holdem Indicator will give a working hud but is only any use for 1 session per player.

winning poker network are now supported directly by HEM
