Hi jmchezka, welcome to the forum.
It's always good to see a new player entering the online realm. Virtual play is a great way to get started and there are plenty of games for all stake levels available.
Live poker is definitely a different beast. I still have fond memories of the first time I sat down at a live table after getting started online.
The location of my first live cash game ($1/$2 NLHE) was the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. I did my standard 3x preflop raise from Early Position with AQ and was surprised to get called down by pretty much the entire table. I may have been inebriated, but it seemed like even the slot players would have raced over to the poker room to get in on the action if it had been permitted.
Omaha can be a bit confusing at first, but it's a fun game to learn and there should be plenty of soft competition in the small stakes games on Suited Ace.
Best of luck to you. Feel free to browse around the various forums here at FTR and participate in the discussions.
