Default Back After a Long Hiatus

As you can tell from my registration date, I have known about online poker since the days of Moneymaker. I always liked poker, but didn't start playing for real money until the "Poker Boom". The first go 'round back in 2005-2006 I probably lost about 1k due poor bankroll management and shitty play.

I caddied back in '08, and during that time, there was always a card game in the caddy area. The game was dealer's choice $1-$3 mixed limit. I lost a couple hundred bucks before quitting because I didn't have the bankroll to keep up with the loose play.

In 2010, I got a $50 bankroll for Full Tilt. I focused on trying to grind the micros and see if I could turn nothing into a living. I had myself up about $50, then the whole Full Tilt scandal hit, and my account was closed and I didn't have enough points to withdraw what money I had made.

In November of last year a big thing happened in my state. New Jersey legalized online gambling. My first thoughts were to get online and start playing, but I waited. Last week, I had enough waiting and deposited $150 on WSOP. The goal is to have poker be a sustainable hobby through bankroll management, and eventually moving up stakes. This is all I will put into poker. The way I see it, if I lose 75BI two dollars at a time, I should never play poker again.

I need some book recommendations. I have read many poker books in the past, but I'm not sure which one I should buy this time. I was thinking Super System just because of it's girth. I assume I will need a book on poker math, but while being decent with numbers, I'm not mathematician. So my first question in return is: What book(s) should I invest in?

It's good to be back. I will lurk until I do my 10k hand report. See you soon.
know the enemy and know yourself, and in 100 battles you will never be in peril.

know yourself but ignorant of the enemy, your chances of winning are half.

if ignorant of yourself and of your enemy and you will always be in danger.

Hi ledfut always happy to see a new member even if you been here before. I have not been a member for very long. Just doing some posting and taking my time. Maybe one day I can play some events with them. But I see they play at Stars and Tilt and I'm in the US so guess I cant play in those. Anyway GL to you at WSOP sure wish there were more sites for players all over the US but guess we will have to wait awhile longer for that
