TPTK no good?

    Default TPTK no good?

    Ok villain is 0/0 through 6 hands so nothing to go off of really.

    I have only been at 50's for like 3 sessions and so far it seems like you get raised on the flop A LOT more, so when i get raised here i think its with a pretty wide range (flush draws/Kx/sets/mebe turning some PP's into bluffs but prob not)....When the turn completes the flush i think i am significantly behind and i am going to be facing another bet on the river, easy fold?....what about on the flop???

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($50.20)
    Button ($52.05)
    SB ($22.50)
    BB ($83.15)
    UTG ($44.20)
    UTG+1 ($57.60)
    Hero (MP1) ($52.55)
    MP2 ($50)
    MP3 ($50.75)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K, A
    2 folds, Hero bets $2, 2 folds, CO calls $2, 3 folds

    Flop: ($4.75) 3, 8, K (2 players)
    Hero bets $2.50, CO raises to $7.50, Hero calls $5

    Turn: ($19.75) 6 (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO bets $11.50, Hero folds

    Total pot: $19.75 | Rake: $0.95

    idk, sorry if this is an easy hand, i am just trying to post more and get in more discussion about poakr.

    I'm not sure about turn - seems ok to me without reads.

    The flop bet looks a bit small though, given that, it looks like he would indeed raise it with a wider range than usual if he feels you are weak?

    I'd be more flop and fold turn as played. Of course i play 25nl FR and only just moved up from 10

    its all good, i appreciate your response, and my flop sizing was sometihng i chose because i figured he had a lot more FDs/PP's than worse Kx so i wanted a bet size that ensured his range would stay the widest without giving him free cards or good odds to chase.

    Also i do agree that my sizing is possibly a reason i got c/r'ed here

    As said, bet 3.5-4 on the flop. He will not fold any Kx hand on the flop. As played, fold turn.

    3bet/fold the flop since your weak bet induced a spastic flop raise and you're OOP. I'd make a bet of $4 here. As played fold turn obv.

    3B/folding the flop is terrible

    C-Betting more than 2/3 pot on the flop is bad unless you know he calls postflop too much, but we don't know that. I usually bet 1/3 to 1/2 pot on K high dry flops vs most, since there is a FD here I don't mind c-betting a little higher.

    Using a pretty standard range of:

    Board: Kh 8s 3s
    Dead:

    equity win tie pots won pots tied

    Hand 0: 48.065% 35.34% 12.72% 7698 2770.50 { AdKd }
    Hand 1: 51.935% 39.21% 12.72% 8541 2770.50 { 88, 33, AKs, KQs, QsJs, JsTs, AKo, KQo }

    We see we are about even money on the flop. However, we should usually assume that our opponents aren't raising us with FD's or worse Kings (or even pure bluffs) until we have built up some history.

    Getting it in vs an unknown is likely bad, so raising flop with the intention of getting it in is likely bad. 3B'ing the flop with the intention of folding turns our hand into a bluff which is ridiculous.

    On the turn our equity (using the same range) is as follows:

    Board: Kh 8s 3s 6s
    Dead:

    equity win tie pots won pots tied

    Hand 0: 36.209% 26.24% 09.97% 254 96.50 { AdKd }
    Hand 1: 63.791% 53.82% 09.97% 521 96.50 { 88, 33, AKs, KQs, QsJs, JsTs, AKo, KQo }

    So we should fold since there is no guarantee that he is DB'ing KQo/s (if it even in his range) but he is with near 100% probability DB'ing the rest of his range. Our equity sinks to a measly 14% if we remove KQo/s from his range, so it's a fold.

    3bet OR fold not 3bet/fold. Forget that tho. Stargrinder is an aggro fish. Calling flop is okay. So what happens when he bets T/R on 2 non-spade rags? Are we check/calling both streets and getting value-towned? I mean, he's a random so who knows if he's barreling off with TP.

    So it sounds like his cbet is a good size then judging from people who know better than me.

    Flush draws and worse kings arent calling like a $3.00 bet here?
