Here is my logic for slowplaying this on turn:
I have checked the flop, indicatating that I don't have a big pair or AK, or even KQ. probably some kinda pair or AQ/AJ/AT or am slowplaying a set.
BB leads the turn - meaning exactly nothing, so I just call hoping for an overcall. I realize I am letting spades (and maybe even QJ) draw out on me, but maybe I am excessivly discounting the back door draw in my greed.
When mxer1 raises, I don't put him on a semi-bluff at all - I think he's trying to steal a pot no one has shown much strength in... if I 3-bet after flat calling, I think he will fold almost everything (even non-nut draws) and I think I can get another bet out of him. I think he's probably got a pair or maybe 2 pair, or nothing.
villian shows... 34d on the stone cold bluff... So either I am god's gift to 50NL or I got a luck box for christmas.
I nteresting question what happens if the 9s falls instead of the Ts. Block bet? check/call?
Should I be giving more consideration to back door flushes when the flop checked through? Or less consideration to my ability to get away if the flush does hit on the river?
Funniest thing about this hand was that Triptan3s came to my table and railed me for 10 minutes calling me a slowplayer.... coincidentally (I hope!) while I was slow rolling a set of aces! I think he was drunk. I played along for a while... maybe tonight I will try to hunt down his comments.
