How would you have played this flop? Should I have bet $4+ on the flop?

I think his flop raise was with air, but he may have hit his hand on the turn. Thoughts?

What of range of hands do you put Villain?
Your bet on the flop is fine. On the turn, it is really tough to call because of flush possibility and overcard. You are getting about 2.45 to 1 pot odds. The question is whether Villain started with a flush draw and got there on the turn? It will depend on the read of Villain. Tough decision on the turn. I would flip a coin to decide whether to move all-in or fold on the turn.

i am not a great 6max player, fwiw, but i think this is a must fold.

Looks fine by me, I'm generally putting him on a suited connector here, specifically one with an 8 in it or two spades, due to the fact that he called a small raise on the button and then called the re-raise. I really can't see how you're ahead, and unless he's a fucking maniac, I don't think he's bluffing either, it just comes across as standard TAG play.

Can anyone see him having a wider range than that?

i think hes more likely to have TT here.
Hero should lead the turn fold to a raise IMO rather than check/fold, unless you have a solid read. QQ/TT are hands id expect to see as well as some rubbish like A8 or 8xs.

This is a genuine question, not trolling sarcasm - How rare are players who don't 3-bet TT? I thought 3-betting TT was the most standard play ever.

how many times has lukie posted that he doesnt get repopped enough on stars by super weak/tight passives?
For a good player TT is a repop preflop, for passive stars small stakes players it isnt a lot. QQ/AK still arent standard reraises at the 100nl game on stars.
