Bad Play or Bad Beat?

    Default Bad Play or Bad Beat?

    Im new here and I was just wondering whether I did something wrong on this hand or if it was just a bad beat. Any feedback is welcome.

    Seat 2: UTG+1 (8494 in chips)
    Seat 3: UTG+2 (3125 in chips)
    Seat 4: Hero (6190 in chips)

    Seat 6: CO (1230 in chips)
    Seat 7: Button (3745 in chips)
    Seat 8: SB (1638 in chips)

    3 folds, Hero raises 600 to 800, 4 folds, BB calls.

    BB has Ah Tc (three of a kind, tens).
    Hero has Jc Jh (two pair, jacks and tens).
    Outcome: BB wins 12480.

    Bad beat, u got all the chips in when he was behind.

    is this play money or tourney or something?

    and if his raise wasn't so obnoxiously big then he'd probably have you beat.
