Default AQs picks up equity on turn vs fish. Dbl?

Villain is 30/5 over 40 hands. He's limp calling and minraising a lot

Is double barreling here bad? If we're checking, whats our action if he fires into us?

I think this is villain dependent. There are def quite a few players out there who will float cbets on low flops in position and then stab at the pot if checked to on the turn. As you gained some equity I like the 2nd barrel. It adds balance to your value barreling range and if you hit the flush it's hard to spot so you've a good chance of a river bet being called.

lol @ balancing vs the fish.

just fire again on the turn, you have more than enough equity to not need much FE at all.

Just because we don't balance against fish doesn't mean we don't balance against regs.

who? the other fish or the multi-tabling regs that are usually too busy to even take notes on the hands they're involved in?

I'm not saying you're totally wrong, but it's such a relatively insignificant factor here compared to equity and FE.

you have soooooo much equity vs his probable hands, you are sometimes ahead, he will fold a bit, and if turn goes x/x you never get his stack

    can haz explanation?

Obviously we can bet A/Q/clubs for value, but are we assuming that this guy has a weak enough range after calling twice on a raggy board to fold to a 3rd barrel on most rivers?
