50NL: tough (or not so tough) river
Hi guys, it's been maybe 1 year I haven't played poker nor posted any hands (so don't be to harsh on your comments ), but I might start over again so here goes a hand:
villain was 19/9 (no other specific reads), 2 as AF and 2 as 3bet. folds to c-bet 55.
No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
saw flop
MP3 ($49.41)
CO ($34.27)
Button ($49.28)
SB ($45.14)
BB ($31.33)
UTG ($51.42)
UTG+1 ($13.74)
UTG+2 ($44.25)
MP1 ($78.87)
Hero (MP2) ($53.94)
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, K
4 folds, Hero bets $2, 1 fold, CO calls $2, 3 folds
Flop: ($4.75) 7, 8, Q (2 players)
Hero bets $3, CO calls $3
Turn: ($10.75) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, CO calls $6
River: ($22.75) A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $9, Hero ?
Total pot: $22.75
Let's put villain on ranges:
after the flop call he can have 66-TT (he should 3bet often pre with JJ+), AK/AQ/KQ/QJ/QT/JT/T9/65 and maybe AJ or AT.
after the turn call (not raise) he can have 66/88/99/TT/AQ/KQ/QJ/QT/65/T9 (he might raise some sets so I removed 77) + maybe AK/AJ/AT.
after the river bet his range is either set's/AQ/AK/AJ/AT or bluffs (with stuff like 65/T9), 'cus he should (here we're assuming villain is decent) check with KQ/QJ/QT.
From my analysis this should be a fold, am I totally wrong?
Thanks!
