Default 100NL Deep, Villain 3x Pot shoves river

Villain is 17/11/2 reg over 1k+ hands and on a few of my tables. Haven't really gotten into any situations with him postflop till now. Plan was to C/C a river bet.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) -

    Hero (MP2) ($223.24)
    CO ($35.50)
    Button ($154.68)
    SB ($100.50)
    BB ($132.58)
    UTG ($101.73)
    UTG+1 ($51.38)
    MP1 ($100)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, K
    3 folds, Hero bets $3, 1 fold, Button calls $3, 2 folds

    Flop: ($7.50) 4, 9, 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, Button calls $5

    Turn: ($17.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $13, Button calls $13

    River: ($43.50) K (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $131.54 Hero Sighs

tough spot. Fold. Regs don't make 130bb bluffs into 40bb pots often enough to call here. You having Kc (i.e. he isn't value betting a Kcxc missed flush draw) makes it even more of a fold.

Yeah that looks a lot like 89 trying to make it look like a bluff.. fold it.

his sizing is terrible. he has like no bluffs in his range so why are u planing to check call just bet river yourself

I'm not sure I'm betting the turn against this guy; b/f on river is infinitely better than c/c.

The only part of his range I am ahead of are PPs and busted draws. All of which I'm pretty sure would not call even a small river bet. Their is a chance he would bluff at that river or try to get a thin value bet with worse when checked to. He definitely does not see me as a person or has any reason to believe that I would triple barrel here where he can call with weak one pair type of hands. For those reasons I didn't think a river bet here accomplishes anything since we are only getting called/raised with better and folding out worse.

just bet anyway and 3barrel bluff a ton if no one ever looks you up

I think there is close to 0 chance a guy like this will value-bet thin with worse. Betting and getting raised is a ton better than check/soul-reading especially if you even think about calling this bet.

My thoughts exactly, and he's probably putting you on a hand exactly like you have, I would snap fold and move on. Stacks are too deep for him to bluff.
