Default 100NL: 2 pairs vs huge calling station PreFlop

villain was 80/2/3 (I'm not joking!!) for 50 hands.
I had a read on him that he tried to get a tight player of his TP with a raise all-in on River. The difference was that on that hand the tight player had raise flop & bet turn.
Here I had played the hand passively. Can we put villain only on a set?
    Villain was aggro Postflop.
On one hand he could have a set and trying to recover the lost money, but maybe he thought that the only way to get me out of TT-JJ or AT was to push? Or is this a situation where we should muck and look for a better spot?

vs this guy (or anyone really) c/c turn is horrible, you have to lead or c/r big but most likely c/r - this guy sucks, get money in the pot asap!

As played I mash the call button as hard as I can, he's waaaay more likely to have a 9 or 5 or two random cards he felt like bluffing with than a set/overpair. It's useless assigning ranges to someone this loose but just know that he most likely has random crap easily enough of the time to call this.

IMO you butchered this hand, lead turn or c/r. check/call is sooo bad.

damn I hate this spot. His massive overbet on the river is perplexing as most people with this line will try to "suck you in" with a smallish bet if they have a decent hand here.

S for where you may be in the hand right now..... bleck. The board pairing has given him the lead if he was slow playing an overpair to the board (which his betting somwhat represents). The other option is that he picked up either a str8 or flush draw on the turn and is hoping to bluff you off of your hand when it missed on the river.

Unfortunately I think the paired board swings the pendulum to us being behind here more often than we are ahead.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

Agree with most, c/c turn is awful.

Even tho his TT/JJ just caught up, he´s prolly doing the monkey w/ 9x as well and we´re calling with tears in the eyes

I have always trouble to play against these huge station donks.
I agree on bet or c/r turn and I should be prepared to play for stacks against these donks on these nice turns!
Somehow, I didn't had the balls to do it ... don't know why ...

Thinking again about this hand, we have showned a lot of passiveness so villain might put us on TT-JJ, 66-77, A9, A8 or 43. So why push that river IP? I think he wants us to call most of the time.
If we had bet the river and he had pushed, this would be a different story.
