Gauntlet Season XI: finished won by Keith

Ok So here is what I started with and scheduled the First month of games on the PokerStars Home game page. Anyone that is a member of FTR and has posted regularly is eligible. There are some exceptions to who can play in this. This comes down to the admins and mods. If you have to ask if you can play it's probably unlikely unless and FTR Veteran member is the one asking. I only put in the first few events. I want to have room to change the game times and formats in later games. I will try and run between 20 and 24 games which is about 12 weeks. This will allow enough people to find time to get in enough games to make it fair for everyone. Your top 12 finishes will be what counts. I need someone that knows how to handicap these point systems to either explain them to me to do or to run the points. I want to allow for both field size, placing and maybe some kind of minimum bonus for games played.

To signup for the Gauntlet, follow these steps below:

1) Create a free FTR Forum account. The Gauntlet is only open to registered users.

2) If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from www.pokerstars.com. (Anyone can play, even those from the US!)

3) Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab. Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button. Enter my Club ID number: 907696. Enter my Invitation Code: Iwannaplaythegauntlet. This will place you in the queue and we will approve your membership within 24 hours.

4) Link your PokerStars and FTR accounts. This so we know who you are on PokerStars. (Failure to do so will mean you are not earning points for any games you play and therefore have no chance in winning.)

You are not an official member of the Gauntlet until you complete all 4 steps.

This is the tentative schedule. Only part of April is set up to go. We will work on changing the rest as we go. Majority rules. I will also post prizes information after we have an idea how many will be playing.

EDIT: There are quite a few names registered that I don't recognize. Just so people know, You can join the Gauntlet as a new member to FTR but you will not be able to stay in the gauntlet and win prizes as an invisible member. You must start to contribute as a new member to be eligible to win FTR prizes. I will be deleting non posting players as the league continues so make sure I know who you are.
