I'm out (TysonTom). I was doing ok I guess, managed to come back from a shortish stack. Then a basic misread (Vegas I think his name was), and I was gone.

My friend was playing, TOMISGAY (funny, I guess?), didn't seem too happy with Muxxxy and his J5.

Wow...out on the rippy. I must say, the leaks in my game are being exposed...great for learning. This week's lesson (learned both Saturday and today) : be more selective when push.

you got a lot of chips off me in that one hand where the flop was K63 and the turn was a 3. out of curiousity, what did you have?

I think the highlight of my game was losing that monstrous 4 chip pot to bust.

I got my kings cracked when there were 5 of us. At least I got some $ and league points though.

thanks RE! i was quite amazed i made it that far let alone win it... at one point i was down to 700 chips! all from people raising into my blinds and me folding due to lack of hand strength.

the highlight of the match for me though was when i busted kc out in 10th place to bring us to the final table. i was happy enough flopping a set and having him bet into me... but when the 4th 6 came on the river? that was the cherry on top+extra whip cream! :P

    good times all

His preflop call is debatable but 60 chips represents about 3% of his stack, so its a loose call but hes playing for implied odds. When he hits that flop (top pair with flush draw) he is actually the favourite.

I'll see if I can dig up the hand history when I put it into PT, you won't be very happy about it.

Yeah... I deliberately bet huge on the flop to stop a draw from calling but it sort of backfired...top pair with the flush and straight possibilities - I figured after the event that no matter what odds i gave him to draw he was still going to call it.

I dont think I played it particularly badly. The other approach is to fold to his flop re-raise but i knew he didnt have me beat, and figured there was no way he'd call off all his chips on that.

    Big Blind Special.

I've just checked the HH, I remember it now. I actually had more than I thought. What did you have? I'll post the HH after. Just to make sure.
