Yeah I noticed the bet you guys have... 18 laps and 100 stairs is it? Just one lap would have me on my knees. I think if I lost this bet I'd break my ankle with a hammer to get out of it.

Still around and still interested in joining and playing in these games.
All that is needed is acceptance from FTR.
    Good luck all .

spidy, post some hands in the BC, play a couple of games of WW, chat with people in the commune, then next time we play gauntlet you won't be excluded. I think if they were gonna let you in this time around, you'd be in by now.

Can't post hands,i've tried and my PC won't let me.Came to late for the last WW but i've joined the new one starting soon.I chat with a few from here and post regulary.I'm optimistic and definitely a patient person.Deservingly i should be given the benifit of the doubt that i do have the knowledge and the drive to play.
Never to late to join or play given the chance.

Less than an hour to go until this game, currently 12 registered!

The email reminder didn't go out today - my fault, sorry! - so if you know anyone who normally plays but isn't registered could you remind them?

    The event has now started!

10,000 stacks to start, really weird , played for hour and half with no hands. found myself down to 4,500 chips, then the big stacks took control so very hard to make a move without being put all in on plays. not for me finished 9th felt like i sat out the whole time, lets get back to reallity 5ooochips normal blind structure. what u all think
  23. #23
I really liked the 10,000 structure - any other thoughts? It gave freedom to lose a few pots in the early stages and some fun meta-game for 4bet/5betting light with plenty behind, but it still didn't take too long.

10k was deff better imo, it allowed to lose a pot or 2 and still have play, it actually ended same blind level as 5k so it didnt even end up being any longer this week than last. I really think its the optimal stacksize and blinds for this

    Nice job xianti!

I really like this set up myself. Big stacks did me no fucking good though. I went mad with 89s and jonnytwatford donked along with 2nd pair 67s and hit river. I hope everyone took a note. I did. It says "fucking moron owes me his stack". I'll change it to something nicer when he gives me his stack. Nothing personal, sure you're a nice chap etc, it's fucking business. You and gizmo now have targets on your back.

If I don't make top three next week, I'm gonna start playing batshit crazy for the lulz. It's better than flaking. You have been warned.

    lol

Game 3's structure was best and it only took 2 hours to play. Let's def keep it this way.

    10k was sexy.

    flush under flush was not.
  32. #32
I definitely liked this structure the best. It was nice to have some flexibility at the beginning of the tourney instead of feeling short-stacked early.

I don't care if I played the hand badly, I can blame who I like. Fucking KJo to an ep open. Bottom of my range there is KQs. You suck.

EP? You were in the CO. Weed is affecting your memory.
  35. #35
Whaaa? Don't lie. You were two seats to my left. So if I was CO, you were SB and out of position. Post the hand, I dare you. I guarantee I was oop vs you in that hand, which means I could not have been CO.

Also, I hope you don't think my constant bitching means I actually have a personal problem or anything, I just like ranting.

Ha, it's all just friendly trash talking, no offense taken by me.

I'm gonna check that when my other comp is working again and I can refer to pt4, make sure you're not doctoring the hh lol. But yeah if the seat between us was empty that helps make some sense. I remember your seat relative to me and me being oop. My memory isn't that fucked.

I hated jonnytwatford's play vs me more than your play. He called an ep raise and then a bb squeeze with 67s and chased down 2nd pair to river, where he binked trips.

Next week I'll be the donkey sucking out.

Loved the game 3 structure, didn't love mah KK being cracked by Marketplaya's 100BB 4bet jam with A8!

Can someone confirm that US clocks don't go back this weekend? Our clocks go back an hour so if US clocks don't go back that means instead of being 5 hours time difference it'll be 4
