    Default I think I is being stoopid re private messages...

    ...but I can't locate the "private messages" link on the tab anymore (think it used to be between "Calendar" and "Community" or similar).

    Would clearing my inbox recently have done it?

    Perhaps your inbox is full? I'm not sure, but I just increased the PM storage for Promoted Users. Does this help?
