We won't be offended if that is what you want to be and decide to take your 15 posts a year to another site.
This is coming from a nine-year veteran who has extensive experience doing exactly what he preaches, dedicating time to working on his game, building a bankroll, entering serious poker-related discussions with fellow members, moving up in stakes, etc. Jim also has years of experience moderating the boards and is a former Forum Manager here at FlopTurnRiver.
While the tone is direct, I think some players would see Jim's post as an open invitation to participate in the community. It's great to have a solid group of contributing members here at FTR that will give honest poker advice for those who are serious about working on their games.
Personally, I think all poker players, regardless of skill level or serious/casual approach to the game, should be welcome here provided they are routinely contributing. Although this personal view is in-line with the official FlopTurnRiver stance, there is a forum hierarchy in place (which I 100% agree with) that places a significant amount of importance and legitimacy on posts created by veteran contributors with massive post counts such as Jim's. I've been a member of FTR for a few months, Jim has been here almost since the very beginning -- with more than 1,000 posts per year to substantiate his views.
If you are serious about your poker game and want to share in discussion of hand histories and other poker-related topics, then our newer/less-contributing members will be wise to take Jim's insight here and head to our Poker Forums to engage in worthwhile discussion.
