That sucked big balls. Did shit. Quickly blinded down and spew shoved K2s utg as soon as blinds went up to 100, leaving me with 9bb, and ran into KK... fuuuuuuck.

gl to those left... esp the regs.

I feel loved by Ong Is there a rail thread for the tournament itself for me to post in when I bust out 7 minutes in?
  23. #23
It's only because I can put an avatar to the name. Plus I like that you support a shit team. No glory.

I can't be the only one tilted that krammstein won a ticket. He was at my first table and, to put it politely, he was fucking awful. Genuinely, I hope he wins the damned thing and retires from poker.

Nice to hear. I feel welcome here even though I've just got here! Anyway, I would like to update my progress if anyone has created a rail thread. If not I shall do one Sunday, maybe on my own blog.

    Heh, irrational vs rational tilt

I've added the winners names to the top post, and hopefully we'll watch one of them go deep!
  26. #26
Guess this'll be the rail thread! I've just regged up for a big session, so I'll be grinding from now until a lot later, fingers crossed I get to play a Day 2 tomorrow as well
  27. #27
    Good luck mate
  28. #28
good luck jonny keep us posted on your progress

Fun first hour, lots of people at my table seeing flops and when I've joined them, I've done well, only down side thus far has been losing JJ to 87s when he raises UTG and flats my 3b, all goes in on 8775 but he was very short, and I'd won a couple pots so only took me down to like 8.5k, built back up to 11.1k now (10k starting).
  30. #30
Two hours in, still going, had a gross spot with QQ, where I 3b button and got 2 callers and had to lay it down on K65X when someone donked flop and shoved turn. Still ended up over that hour, grinding up to 13.7k
  31. #31
3rd break. Still in. A lot shorter now. Bad hour where I lost 2 big pots with QQ (to T8) and AK, was down to 5k, won a decent pot with KK, floating around 8k now but still have around 30bbs, no need to panic just yet, but could do with some cards. Been at the same table all tourney and people just love seeing flops, especially those to my left, so I'm somewhat handicapped in what I can do.
  32. #32
Get moved and have TheRealAndyBeal on my left and Joseph Cheong aka Subiime next to him...
  33. #33
And I KO'd Cheong and crippled Beal, sitting on a lovely stack of 87k, 19/3438 4 hours in.
  34. #34
Is anyone even listening? Lol. 100k stack, average is 37k, I'm sitting 59/2268.
  35. #35
6 hours in, sitting in good shape still, 125k, average is 58k, I'm sitting 95/1429
  36. #36
    H4H 96/1081, 156k, average is 77k. Going well

I wasn't online today (just for a few mins. early on (13:00ET) & then checked emails a couple times later) but did check to see how you were doin'. Was lookin' good.

Noticed that none of the other 5 ticket winners played in this event... sigh. I would've played for sure had I won a ticket.

WTG on cashing. Would've been cool for sure to see you get to the next day!
  42. #42
Congrats Jonny. Not sure why no one else played - was it a WCOOP#42 ticket in particular or was it just a $215 tournament ticket?
  43. #43
I believe they were auto-registered and could unregister and be credited with T$.

Don't know for sure because I wasn't personally one of the lucky winners,
otherwise I would have been playing on Monday.
  44. #44
    Ahh, that would make sense
  45. #45
Cos they're not as good as me LDO.
  46. #46
Well done Johnny, I forgot to rail you.
