When I joined FTR 7 years ago (holy crap that makes me feel old), Gauntlet was awesome. We'd regularly have 4 or 5 tables of participants, and it was really fun to play against forum regulars. If you were new to the forums, it was also a great way to get to know other members. I really felt like part of the community after participating in the Gauntlet.

Black Friday will make it tough to get back to old numbers, but it would still be really fun if we could fill even two tables on a regular basis.

wow, I had completely forgotten about these. Last I remember, they were filled with a bunch of bonus whores. But I remember playing in ones with Lukie, Gabe, Soupie, Michael1123, Radashack (lol), etc...

the last couple seasons before BF weren't organized very well. While we can't hope for the participation that we got back in 2006, we can definitely do better than the last couple tries.
