wsop uncut edition
I was wondering why ESPN doesn't offer a blu-ray or dvd set of all the uncut footage of the wsop events they cover. No commentary, just the footage and if they have hole cards they display them.
I don't think it would make sense for it to be wide released as there wouldn't be a huge demand for it, however they could charge a premium price and sell it online or something because the people who would want it would get their hands on it; it wouldn't be something the average person would want when they walk into walmart or blockbuster (id assume the set would be huge and more expensive than the average boxed set of dvd's/blu rays, since there would be so many discs)
Doing this wouldn't need much editing, and im sure those pop up displays are easy to make. They shoot so much footage that costs them alot of money, why not utilize it? Offer it up on espn.com or something, a 10 blu-ray set (i don't know how much it would be), slap it in a box, $150.
