What's good on the internet?
The main reason I'm starting this is because I just found out about Wolfram Alpha, and the reason I haven't found it earlier is for a lack of this thread.
Wolfram|Alpha: Computational Knowledge Engine
The first thing I asked it was "102 factorail" and it corrected my spelling and had the result in about a second. wttff - notice how I'm even too dumb to just write 102!, and it will still comply.
I know google can do this too, but wolfram does a ton of other awesome things that google can't. Most notably solving anything math based, and even giving you formulas and information on the units you've used.
reddit: the front page of the internet - or more specifically the world news and what-I-learned section... anything that has links. I think it's a bad format for funny pictures
The Straight Dope - Fighting Ignorance Since 1973
There since the dawn of the internet, not that you can't tell by the layout.
Their forum is fantastic as well.
Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters - I particularly like the ask section.
