    Default week 4 NFL

How you can tell your favorite team sucks:

You are watching a local T.V. show covering your favorite team, and when the crew is asked to predict the final score against an 0-3 team, they all pick the local team to win by one score, often 3-4 points.

The Lions are +11.5 on the bye week.

That's why UG has been so mean to me over the John Elway thing. KC is a 2 score underdog baby!

    9 points? So easy!

No Colts game so I'm playing the Sunday tournaments for the only time I'll play them during NFL season.

Only games televised in my market are SF at NO and SD at OAK, hurray!

Brandon Flowers running a fumble back and chased down by Eddie Royal. The NFL can be a sick game sometimes...

Yep. That's why they play the game.

I'll eat crow this weekend. KC played a mean game, and if they play all the rest of their games like that, they'll do a lot better this season than a lot of people are predicting.

Anyway, see all you crazy Chiefs fans in Denver in what, week 10? Hopefully it's a game that matters.

    lol Chiefs beat Denver, amazing

Cutler didn't look like himself at all, had a few good throws but he looked off.

Larry Johnson was a baaaad man today.

was it me or did they score on 4th down? Was def close enough for a review.

It was really close and it would be almost impossible for someone to call that play correctly and determine when exactly he was down. Also the replays were inconclusive and the call wouldn't have been overturned. Still, I'm surprised they didn't review it.

I just thought of a sweet idea. For plays like these, they should put some crazy fabric in the ball that could only be detected by a special camera (similar to an infrared camera) to review plays like those. I'm a genius.

so once they detect this ball that we can already see, with these special cameras that would serve no purpose, to get to the reviews where absolutely nothing would change.......

... how about just a simple goal-line camera?

But you couldn't actually see the ball on that play because there were so many bodies around it and it was in the middle of the pile. There was a goal line camera on that play but you couldn't actually see the ball since it was surrounded by a huge mass of bodies. Know what I'm saying?

Yeah it's a valid point.. I'm quite sure that you're overriding point is right and that with the technology we have today, we could get it very exact with no error whatsoever on plays like that. Let's put it this way though, I like instant replay. That's about it though. Eventually we're going to start putting radio transmiters in the players' helmets so they can hear the coach talk... oh wait........

I have a friend who patented this idea a few years ago and is in the process of marketing it to the NFL. Not sure how it's going, lots of hurdles to clear.

I don't know when they started playing this song at every sporting event imaginable (I've heard it at literally every NFL and college game I've watched this weekend including this monday night game) but I kind of love it.
