Yeah. So many haters saying how Disney will ruin it. So far they've done great with Pixar and Marvel. Also, it would be very, very, very hard to ruin the Star Wars world more than Lucas has with episodes 1-3. I keep hoping they get Christopher Nolan to make the next ones. They won't but a reimagined Star Wars with some grit would be hard to beat.

wow... that would be amazing. And really, it could happen, you never know. If the right people are involved, and the right promises are made, this could attract a seriously talented director such as Nolan. After all, he's done with Batman, and what better way to top his spectacular run with Gotham?

I really like Nolan, but I'm not sold on the greatest of his Batmans. They're definitely good, but I noticed more of the dumb studio influences than I like. It seems that a lot of wannabes who never got their hands on The Prestige, for example, did get their hands on the Batmans

Yeah, Disney has done a good job with Marvel and they couldn't do much worse than the 3 Star Wars prequels.

I actually want to see a KOTOR movie. Perhaps trilogy. Enough people don’t know about this storyline, and those who do know, know exactly how abtomazingly awesome it is.

Specially if told from a first person narrative.

on the serious side, here are a few reasons why im not wrong about tdkr: maranda was not an important character, yet she stabs the bat in the twist. whoop de fricken doo. also the batman films have done a pretty awful job of portraying competent police forces and realistic women. and batman has throat cancer; michael keaton never sounded ridiculous

many of the people involved are pimps and there is some great value in the movies, but they are still overrated. at least avengers had a really hot chick (johanssen) and an enjoyable protagonist (downey jr)

Also there is an argument to be made that Batman Begins was better than Dark Knight, but DK ended up catching on much more strongly because Ledger did a really great job. IIRC, Batman Begins was still somewhat non-mainstream, and it was only after everybody adored Heath's Joker that people starting screaming DK is GOAT. Then this spills over into TDKR due to hitting mainstream zenith

im not a noob. an elitist pedant perhaps, but not a noob

in other news, nobody can tell the difference between batgirl, maranda, and the one chick that died in an explosion while batman saved a dude who forsook everything he ever believed in for no reason whatsoever

I would be interested in seeing films that aren't based on the original nine episodes.
