Touche. Musch was an awesome guy. I haven't talked to him in years though. He was very good with the politics stuff and really brought a lot of people together.
I think us FTRers naturally gravitated more toward the strategy part of it, farming empty towns, sending axemen and noblemen in coordinated waves, etc. It was definitely a fun time.
Very, very time consuming once you start to expand your empire though. I can't imagine how these people in world 2(the world that we started on) are managing almost 8k villages. When I was around 20 I found it hard to keep up with everything.
Good luck
That is insane. I do remember one guy in our clan who's screenname escapes me at the moment who was insanely good with computers, spreadsheets, etc. and just an all around solid guy. He had some programming skill as well and it wouldn't surprise me if he and/or some other guys were running some automated scripts to keep up with all that. But again that is just random speculation at this point.
Anyway I would be interested in playing a little although I don't plan on being very active to be honest. But I'd be ok with logging in once or twice a day quickly and if the game in its current form isn't too different than what it used to be, trying to remember some of our strategies from all those years ago.
