Default Tom Brady Suspended First 4 Games of '15 NFL Season

Thoughts on this from NFL fans?

I didn't know that the NFL's inner-working demanded "cooperation" in their investigations as well as compliance with the rules. I'm not a Patriots fan, but don't think a few under-inflated footballs were a meaningful factor in their championship run earlier this year. The same goes for "Spy-Gate" a few years back... I'm sure a lot of shenanigans go on that are worse and go undetected.

    himself fucker.
Filming the opponents defense so you know what they're planning and can decode their pre-snap formations and signals is cheating of the first degree.

Shit ain't shenanigans, it's straight up playing by much more favorable rules than your opponents.

They got smacked with max fines and had the evidence destroyed. I'm sure the standing order was not one foot out of line from then on out.

Not surprised they were in a superbowl drought until... oh look... they cheated again.

Punishment was way too light. Tom Brady's legs should be broken.

I hate the Patriots and Tom Brady and I fantasized about breaking his legs (or maybe, like, something less macho like stabbing him in the face with a pen) as I stood 2 feet away from him after he won Super Bowl XXIX.

I do think that SpyGate is as bad a demonstrated case of team cheating as we have ever heard of in professional sports. The Patriots won their first 3 Super Bowls by a total of 9 points, and I do feel they are a bit tainted.

I think DeflateGate is all kinds of B.S.

Interesting... I paid very little attention to SpyGate when it was in the news and just assumed it was something most/all teams did and that the Patriots happened to get caught.

I thought what happened to the Saints "bounty" program was more blatant because it had quotes to back it up, but even then feel that it's a general message conveyed to defenses and has been for some time.

I personally liked the bounty program as a matter of free market economics.

The 4 game suspension seems ok imo but they're saying Kessler will get it reduced.
