I'm sure I'll be snowboarding at some point. Should probably do a whistler trip, haven't been there in a couple of years.

I'm going to Brekenridge at some point this year. My wife has a friend that has a ski-in/ski-out condo that we usually go to every year, this year plans fell through so that sucks......nevertheless, we're planning on going in Jan/Feb/March sometime. Jan/Feb I have two four-day weekends to choose from, in March I have Spring Break so we'll get it done.

I've always told people that skiing is easier to become a beginner at and harder to become an expert while snowboarding is harder to be a beginner and easier to become an expert

I agree with your description of skiing and snowboarding, Tom. It's what I tell everyone as well.

I don't know what utah's like cause I've never been but If you know your way around whistler you can always go into one of the bowls at the very top. The snow up there is usually pretty much perfect.

Whistler/Blackcomb is by far the best mountain I've ever been to. Especially sick if you ride with someone who knows the spots and can show you some good powder runs/backcountry. I've never tried any mountains outside of B.C., but the ones within the province I've tried have all been sick minus the local Vancouver ones. |
