Some comedian made this point, and I forget who it was, but he said that blowjobs are more addictive than heroin. Nobody ever quits blowjobs on purpose, but plenty of people quit heroin on purpose.

I used to know a lad from Carolina who hated blow jobs because he's circumcised. He was dating one of my friends. He was also a right fucking twat. He fucked off back to America after pissing everyone off.

Hi5 to this one. The systematic mutilation of genitals is not acceptable.
  11. #19661
I'm thinking about the rhetoric of my last post, and while it was obviously strong language that was meant in jest, I'm not sure I have a moral problem with a cricumcised individual killing his parents in adulthood.

If the victim was female, no one would bat an eye.

I don't see a moral difference between the two. Both are equally as fucked up.

Welcome to the fight against feminism. What you just said wraps up the entire point.

Edit: To briefly elaborate, consider the idea that I couldn't be a feminist because I'm for people being treated equally. Feminism is only concerned with "improving things" for [a small subset of] women (and they're finally admitting that now).

See, now here was me thinking feminism was a movement that strives for equality.

I'm in no doubt there's lots of women's groups out there who twist the principles of feminism to suit their own anti-male agenda. If they were religious we'd call them extremists, or radicals.

Of course, a girls-only club that strives for equality is something of an oxymoron. But then again we have the Black Police Officer's Association over here, a movement that represents the rights of black policemen. Naturally, there isn't a white boy's club, because that would be racist.

Serious question... would you rather be surrounded by men, or women? I mean, say, there's two rooms, one with ten women all talking about shopping and bed sheets and whatnot, and in the next room there's ten alpha males all drinking shit beer from tins and trying to talk the loudest about sport and cars and fucking.

Which room do you go into?
Bizarrely enough I was at a party last night with 13 women and no men aside from me.

That's the problem with feminism. I'll give an example using another group of shitheads.

The very first KKK originally started with fairly tame ideals based largely around trying to protect certain areas of the south during reconstruction times after the Civil War. They got on some bullshit and were ordered to disband by their leader because of it.

Now suppose I was a member of the KKK and I said something like, "Extremists have given the KKK a bad name. We're really not about being racist," just because that's not what the KKK was about when it started. It's the same kind of thing with feminism now.

    Apparently this isn't fake...

    Spoiler:
On the road (unseen) is a telephone cable going across the road that workers though cars would be ok going over. They didn't anticipate what a street cleaner (right) would do. Well, this is the answer. It coiled the cable, pulling it taught across the road, and making it look like someone fucked with gravity. Cool.

So today I completely flipped out on a customer. Like instant-fired level if I wasn't also in charge of that. The animal level of stupidity I have to deal with on a daily basis is just too much. I'm heavily considering getting into some really low level job where I just dont have to deal with unbearable people. Like bartending at a nice place or sorting cucumbers on an assembly line. Maybe that writing thing spoon is raving about. I guess I can do better than the average clickbait article. Just fuck people. Fuck them right into their dried up asshole. The fucking fake importance of humanity.

if you don't mind (if you do mind then no bother), do you have a story to accompany the flipping out? i wanna know if the guy said something like his computer didnt work because it's made out of cheese and you just called him a cunt fifteen times or what. clearly i assume you work in IT

Customer service is the absolute worst. I've done it all too often and I just lose all faith in the decency of mankind every time.

If it can't trigger your willing suspension of disbelief, then it's different to you.

I agree with wuf that when I see someone stand stock still while being hit by the most telegraphed punches and elbows and whatnot, then reacting in an overly dramatic way, that it kills my suspension of disbelief.

I get the same problem with Hollywood explosions. Anytime the physics in the movie is fantastical, it knocks me out of the story for a bit.

If it's consistently terrible, though - I can jive with it. Star Trek had Heisenberg Compensators as part of the lore. I'm cool with that. I guess I don't know why wrestling is so lacking in entertainment value to me. Maybe because it seems like a really low-ambition circus act.

Good (as in skillful) pro wrestling solves this problem. Poor selling is one of the top things that's helped to absolutely kill mainstream pro wrestling in North America over the past 10-12 years.

I don't understand how anyone of adult age can sit and watch wrestling with any interest. Yes I know it's "entertainment", but let's be honest, it's not very entertaining unless you're a kid who thinks it's real.

I'd rather watch golf. At least that's sport.

The point is that when professional wrestling is done well, it's like any other form of fictional entertainment done well. When it's done poorly, it sucks shit (just like the x season of x popular show).

    I'll offer this analogy:

Pro wrestling : storytelling :: pimping : business.

Professional wrestling is storytelling in its purest form. You have a pure avenue for conflict with its own rules, and you have a pure avenue for advancing stories. You start with a set of stock characters and go from there. The purity of it as a business is what's so interesting about it to me personally.

Fair enough when you see it like that.

From a cynic's pov, wrestling is pretend fighting between people in fancy dress who consume too many steroids, for the benefit of young boys, adults with downs syndrome, and the occasional smart guy who likes a good story.

I take the piss, but I can sit and watch snooker. That's entertainment to me, yet tons of people would rather watch water boil. I'm just a little surprised that someone who I consider to be intelligent watches wrestling on a regular basis. You must be in the top 0.1% IQ when it comes to those watching this shit.

When pro wrestling is done well it's a blast to watch. It's not about truly believing you're watching an actual fight. It's been blown away by the creativity and how perfectly some moves are pulled off like the video spoon posted earlier. It's also about being surprised or impressed with the method they turned a story around, same thing as with a show you know is fiction.

I think a problem people have with seeing what's enjoyable about it is they need to associate it with something. Like Ong considers it a (fake) sport so compares it to golf. It's not a sport at all though. Yes they're tremendous athletes (thy really are) but it's not a sport. The term given to it is sports entertainment but I always think of it more as sports theatre. Not in the prestigious way, but just in the way theatre also has poor sets compared to $$$$ tv shows, so you're really just there for the story and the skilled performance whether it be singing or wrassling.

While I think outside of NXT and Wrestlemania pro wrestling is pretty garbage these days and haven't watched much more than the odd highlight clip for over 10 years now, I can't deny when it's good it's one of my favourite things to watch though.

    Superman included.

The PC narrative that we've got going on is working towards being poised for a complete collapse. It's not at its breaking point yet, but it's getting there, and it's going to be interesting to watch it all unfold.

Meanwhile, the shit is profitable as fuck. Men are making a ton of money selling stupid shit to stupid people like "I bathe in male tears" t-shirts.

For me, this is one of those 'check yourself' moments. No matter how much it may seem like I'm right, I can still be wrong, and here comes something saying just that.

Overall, the results suggest that male brains are structured to facilitate connectivity between perception and co-ordinated action, whereas female brains are designed to facilitate communication between analytical and intuitive processing modes.
this can explain why men are problem-solvey and why women often merge analytics with feelings.

For some reason I took the time to glance at and then read this non-descript wall of text postcard that I got in the mail a few weeks back. Turns out Symantec did something fishy with the way they sold some software, and I am the beneficiary of a class action law suit. Ship the $50.

Anyways, I go to fill out my form online, and what do you know? Garden City Group LLC is the firm officiating dispersal of funds. Ring a bell?

This little bit of writing, culminating in the bold, is pretty much amazing. You should pen a long form article with this as a punchline and shop it around for publication.

I love this idea. I'd have opened my own business years ago if this was the scenario here.

Has been debated into the fucking ground all over europe. Never took off, so I'm not overly positive it will happen this time either. The best suggestion I've heard regarding this is to make it a fast devaluing regional currency which would be tied to an official currency but devalue after a set period of time - something like 2% A month. This solves the problem of hoarding which leads to inflation or the money simply leaving the country. I'm pretty sure it has already been shown to be actually cheaper than the current social systems simply by eliminating the whole apparatus behind them.

" Our study demonstrates that, although there are sex/gender differences in the brain, human brains do not belong to one of two distinct categories: male brain/female brain."

Couldn't find the actual paper, though, just the abstract.
