my dad has told me in the past of a couple fun tricks to play on cats that he assures will achieve results. put a split banana peel on their back and apparently it just parallelizes them or something. the other was putting a sock on their head, and i cant remember what entertainment that achieved. will someone do the experiment and confirm?

Yeah, the banana peel would work...not sure about the sock as my cat would probably just take it off.

I've heard wrapping their paws in tape will make them walk really funny.


I drape t-shirts over my cat's head/body, he can't see so he runs around trying to get it off and I yell "ghost kitty!" really loud because it looks like a ghost floating really close to the floor. My wife hates it when I do that, so does the cat I'm sure.

My cat got interested in a plastic sack from a grocery store one time, too. He got his head stuck in the handle of the bag and started running around our house bumping into shit trying to get it off. Because it was around his head he was getting flipped around left and right when he'd catch it on things, we thought he was going to break his neck and some of the stuff in our house. Thankfully neither happened, but to this day our cat fucking HATES plastic bags from the grocery store.

Remember those dumb wrist wrap things? Where they were just straight, but you slap then against your wrist and they wrap around it? Well it's fun to take then and wrap them around a kitten's neck. Sounds cruel but it doesn't choke, it acts as a neck brace. It really fucks with their balance. It's fun to see them stand up, sway side to side slowly, then tip over sideways.

It's also fun to put a cooked spaghetti noodle on their back. It pisses them off and it sticks really well. We had one cat that would twitch it's back for a few seconds then race around the house like crazy until it fell off.
