Default Poker in academia! Please help!

Hi everyone! I'm a huge fan of poker and I also am a graduate student in sociology at Texas State University. I have to conduct a research study this semester and I decided to do my study on poker. Awesome melding of my two interests! I've gotten awesome response from the poker community so far, but I really need more for my research to have any merit. I'm really hoping that even just a few of you might consider taking my survey. If not, that's totally fine, but if you can I would REALLY appreciate it. The survey only should take about 10 minutes and is 100% anonymous--no personal data is taken, not even your IP address. It's located at on the surveymonkey website and the last bit after the com is /s/sociologyofpoker2 . Sorry, it won't let me post links on here. Anyway, thank you for reading, and wish me luck!!!

I was going to respond but your survey is shitty and will give you bad data. There is nothing more evil than bad data.

    18. How often do you raise in position with average hands?

Do you mean how often in proportion to all hands or only raising hands? Every subsequent question will give you similarly muddy responses.

    20. What type of Texas Hold’em poker strategy do you feel you use most often?

What type of Texas Hold’em poker strategy do you feel you use most often? Tight-Aggressive

    Tight-Passive
    Loose-Aggressive
    Loose-Passive

    None of the above/Not sure

You need to define these terms or you'll be subjected to each person's impression of the term. Are you interested in measuring how people see themselves or what they are?

    1. You are in the big blind in a 9 handed 5/10 NL cash game. Your stack is about 2/3 the average stack size at the table. The players seem to be mostly tight. A player in middle position raises to $40 and the button calls. What is the lowest hand you would typically call the raise with?

I would not ever call a raise in the big blind
    Not sure

You ask what hand but then you show ranges. What if my hand is in that range but I disagree with the range?
