Pretty sure Queen Lizzy shouldn't be in it. Word is she secretly supports Brexit and adores hard-to-not-confuse-with James Bond, soon-to-be-Sir Nigel Farage.
  4. #4
Yeah but Lizzy likes pizza. She was friends with both Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris.

    She should definitely be in.

Woooooooooooooooo Mad Dog Mattis finally chosen for SecDef. No better way to tell the enemies of the West that their fuckery ends now.

Slow ya roll homey, this be the shitposting thread.

What's that sound? I think I just heard Ong's Trumpbubble bursting.

Funny, I thought his plan to keep industry in America was to threaten everyone with tariffs, that tax breaks didn't work.

    Ber-nie! Ber-nie!

Sanders, who railed against the country’s trade policies on the campaign trail, said Carrier’s parent company, United Technologies, “took Trump hostage and won”.

“Just a short few months ago, Trump was pledging to force United Technologies to ‘pay a damn tax,’” Sanders said. “He was insisting on very steep tariffs for companies like Carrier that left the United States and wanted to sell their foreign-made products back in the United States. Instead of a damn tax, the company will be rewarded with a damn tax cut. Wow! How’s that for standing up to corporate greed?”
(Sorry, this isn't really shitposting. Should start a new thread called 'Trump reality thread' or some such)

My Trumpbubble has already burst, thanks to his comments on Cuba. Something like pulling the plug on the deal if he doesn't get a better deal for America. I hope this is his business head talking, and not his foreign policy head, because it's high time the Yanks gave Cuba a fucking break.

An attachment 914 does fuck all for me, though.

Oh, sorry. Thought your support for Trump was based on the idea that he was going to halt globalism or 'drain the swamp' or some other rubbish. Didn't realise it was really based on an assumed kinder gentler foreign policy he was going to enact.

Just goes to show that you don't read my posts. I dunno how many times I said my favourable view of him was to do with his comments on Russia and Syria.

Castro was not nearly as bad as, say, the Saudis, who continue to oppress the shit out of Yemen. Of course, we have favourable ties with the Saudis. Then there's Israel, who again, we list as an ally, while they oppress the shit out of Palestines.

Castro was a stubborn and arrogant piece of shit. But what he did was, in his mind, in the best interests of his people. Where he's arrogant is that he refused to allow the individual to decide for himself what's best for him. Where he was stubborn was where he refused to loosen his grip. But he lived and breathed for Cuba. And he did great things for African people. That the leader of a tiny nation like Cuba could build hospitals in Africa is notable. We support much worse leaders than he ever was.

Castro is dead, I don't know if you noticed. Cuba have had their balls squeezed for half a century or so. Their people need a break. Trump saying he'll pull the plug on the deal if it's not favourable to America is harsh, under the circumstances.

So of the 5 million manufacturing jobs that have left the US since 2000, Trump is saving 1,000 at a price of about $7k per job.

Now all he has to do is repeat that trick 5,000 more times (about three times a day for the next four years) and come up with $35 billion to pay for it. Brilliant.

Indeed, but I'm not daft enough to think a billionaire is going to change the world into one that I like.

If he brings down the globalists, well then he'll be a truly great man. I'm not expecting that much from him. All I'm asking for is a less tense global climate.

Well he started talking to Taiwan, which is gonna piss China off. So I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening if I were you.

Probably has nothing to do with foreign policy though. I'm sure he just owns a hotel there and called to promote it.

I agree with you that losing fewer jobs is worse than losing more jobs. We should lose all the jobs.

Soo, taxpayers' money should be used to maintain jobs that wouldn't otherwise be sustainable? How about trying to create new jobs that actually are economically viable?

Literally spent today telling people they hadn't counted the items they sent out. Fun times.

edit - Also that joke doesn't work the point would be I could do that in a second not it would take up my forum time.

Why is it uncomfortable? He was attacked and had no choice in the matter. It might be uncomfortable if he had joined our side voluntarily...

Jokes aren't meant to be the literal truth, that's why they're called jokes and not truths. You're also not severely autistic, so by your analysis the joke would be wrong on that level of reality too.

Shitposting aside, I like how Taiwan tried to angle in on Trump, and he let them their path, and it's still not a big deal.

Makes me wonder about the people that make things big deals.

The fulfilment of his world view may not have, but a strong argument can be made that the cold war was responsible for one of the most peaceful and prosperous periods the world has ever seen.

Jokes aren't the opposite of truth nor are not part of the set of truth.

What you said just didn't make any sense and wasn't funny. If it would have made sense it would have been funny, right idea but poor execution.

Doesn't really do anything for me. She's a bit strange looking yet you could make her look absolutely stunning in photos.
