I recommend Greatest Events of WWII on Netflix. Lots of great colorized archival footage, and one of the few documentaries that doesn't paint Hitler as some sort of evil genius, but exposes him for the dunce he was.
Hitler gets a lot of flak for being an idiot commander, but he did make some pretty good moves. Overall, I'd rate him about a C-. Long ways from the best, but not the worst either.

Invading Norway to secure bases and iron shipments: B+
Adopting Manstein's plan for France, 1940: A+
Letting the British escape at Dunkirk: D
Forgetting to pack long underwear for the invasion of the Soviet Union: D-
Encircling large numbers of Russians instead of marching on Moscow in Sept. '41: A-
Trying to march on Moscow in Oct-Dec. '41: D
Refusing his general's advice for a general retreat from Russia in winter' 41: A
Sending German troops to Africa: B+
Getting tunnel vision at Stalingrad and not protecting the army's flanks: F
Trying to attack at Kursk: D
Stonewalling the Allies in Africa and Italy: B+
Refusing to retreat ever, regardless of the situation: F
That's just military stuff though. If you're talking about general politics or overall strategy he definitely fucked up a lot from starting the war onwards.
