Forced me to go look it up:

1997-Pack win at Lambeau, 45-17 (after going to the half tied at 10 they took the lead for good on 2 3rd quarter Favre to Chmura TD passes).

2004-Pack win again at Lambeau, 41-20 after Ahman Green runs for 2 TDs and 163 yards.

As I said, didn't turn out to well.

Yes for about 3 minutes until they scored again. Coming off an emotional monday night win and then to go on the road within the division before the Cowboys the next week, I was worried this may be a trap game. Even though they were losing for a short time late, it didn't feel like they were going to lose the game. Almost like in a basketball where the opposition spends most of the game to bring it even, and then gets crushed at the end of the game when they have nothing left.

Yeah, and Rodgers was playing the Lions (basically a high school level secondary) while Favre was playing the Patriots. The Lions managed to make Matt Ryan look like Joe Montana last week, the same Matt Ryan that started this week 0/8 with 2 INTS vs the Bucs.

No-- he's right. And I happen to think Rogers is quite good and said before the season started that the Pack was the best team in the NFCn. Pats are sick with or without Brady. They're stacked on both sides of the ball.

Give it more than two games before you give your team another first round bye and your QB a pro-bowl birth.. that's all I'm saying.

I'm not saying the Packers are bad, they are going to win the division. Rodgers will be an efficient QB who doesn't lose games but don't crown him Brett Favre II just yet. Look at the big picture: the Packers barely beat an overrated Vikings team with no QB at home and then almost blew a 21 point lead on the road to one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Eagles looked sharp on that drive until the last couple plays.

Advice to the iggles: somebody should block demarcus ware at all times.

I'm down by 70 points in a yahoo league and have TO, Westbrook, McNabb, and Witten playing tonight. I have a shot to win imo.

    14-13 ftw

Ed Hochuli is the Brett Favre of NFL referees. He can do no harm.

Lol what do you want the NFL to do? They have a protocol and they are following it. It's not like the guy's career (officiating or law) is over. Were it any other ref, this would be a non-issue.
