    Default Matcha Green Tea

Anyone drink this? It's fucking awesome

Look up the health benefits and start drinking it if you don't

I believe it could improve your poker game and everything in your life.

Yeah but I bet it tastes like shit, like most green tea.

It doesn't like it tastes like normal tea when brewed correctly. Sure everything in this world that tastes good is bad for you and everything that tastes bad is good for you. Plus you can grow to enjoy the taste, or even add honey, ginger, lemon and be creative

1 cup of matcha is equivalent to 10 regular cups of green tea and Matcha is the most powerful antioxident in the world

It's the only tea that completely substitutes coffee for me. Downside: most drugs are cheaper by the gram.

Dunno about matcha, but since living in southeast Asia, I've taken a liking to green tea. I like it because it isn't bitter like black tea is, and thus doesn't need to be sweetened. In fact, I find sweetened green tea to be kind of gross. I think the taste of a relatively weak brew of refrigerated unsweetened green tea is fairly pleasant, definitely better than bottled water, and probably pretty healthy too. I personally don't give a shit about the health factor, it's a cheap and refreshing beverage that doesn't rot your teeth out.

Regular green tea is brewed from the leaves as you know but Matcha is the actual leaves ground up and powdered and you consume the whole lot, which makes it 136x stronger than a regular cup. I'v just moved off green tea to Matcha recently but it's not as enjoyable as a cup of green tea with lemon or something but I just drink it for the health benefits. Plus a Matcha has the same boost as an expresso with no jitters or crash and it's more natural and slow releasing as well, so great for the morning to start your day. Induces a sense of calm and monks use it to keep calm and focused during meditation. So a cup before you meditate before playing a session I guess would be extra beneficial to your focus. IMO anyway

Until there's accredited data saying that antioxidants are anything more than a fad, it's just a fad.
    I don't believe the hype.

I mean, yes, antioxidants are good. The vitamins C, A, and E are all antioxidants. All of which I eat daily via fruits and vegetables.
The hype I don't believe is that intaking massive amounts of anti-oxidants is a "the more, the better" situation.

I don't understand the fascination with monks. I believe I can learn more from a plumber than someone who sits around all day and does some gardening on the side.

I have no idea why you would want 136x power green tea. I want a refreshing beverage, not an LD50 dose of caffeine.

it's just tea cerenomy tea. the stuff's bitter and nobody drinks it. apart from in weird tea ceremonies.

You want to tell me how I'm supposed to drink my tea now?

Matcha ice cream on the other hand, is something everybody needs to try. Every self-respecting Japanese restaurant offers it.

I believe the hype. I was sold by That's The Way The Cookie Crumbles by Schwarcz. I've got a weak spot for doctors, I know they're rewarded too much for knowledge they might not have, but I'm still sold on antioxidants based on what little I know.

We're stronger than this. We don't need any Rick and Morty.

    None at all...

It induces a sense of calm and higher focus for them apparently.

And if you mean by whisking it with a bamboo whisk so that it has a froth and drinking it from a bowl I guess I have drank it properly

    ohmm

I have not found that to be true, but the first time I jugged a litre of carrot juice I thought I was pissing blood.
