No. It is never acceptable to sometimes do or have anything. This is a world of certainties and absolutes, so you pick a side or you die. You best either always have strong opinions or never have them, if you know what's good for you.

I find that to worry about such things as "acceptable" is ludicrous to begin with. Worrying about acceptability means that you have lost your mind to FEAR of ridicule. "Fear is the mind killer"

When ever I postulate an idea/theory to my friends I always put up an exclaimer that this is not necessarily my view, but here is something that I find which is fucked up if true.

In my years I find it more and more impossible to have any correct understanding of anything. That's also, because the world view that I keep finding is vastly different then the normal. I hold that my views and opinions are shaped by my experiences, and my daily brainwashing. Some of this brainwashing is done deliberately unto myself which is another thing most people do to hold their views intact. (alternative is insanity)
