Republicans suck. But honestly the Democrats this election suck worse.

the 2 party system we have (which isn't technically true but for our purposes it is) sucks.

i don't like what the republicans are doing either, especially bush and especially that stupidass poker law, but as long as the democrats are so intent on stealing money from honest, hard working people and spending it as they see fit instead of the people that earned it, i'll still be voting republican more times than not. the sad part is that overall, i think the democrats have a stronger view on a lot of things, but they just aren't as important as that one.

how much did bush actually push for the uigea laws to be passed? or did he just sign it. if he just signed it i cant really hold him nearly as accountable. i wouldve been like eh fuck you buddy, but what can you do. i myself am really more of a libertarian in lots of ways than republican. less government, less nanny state bullshit, more privacy.

Bill Frist is the one that got it attached as a rider to the port security bill. AFAIK, Bush never pushed for or against the UIGEA.

I would definitely consider myself a libertarian too. Like I said, I don't particularly like either party, especially right now.

Republicans and Democrats both do this. Bush may have lowered your taxes but the only reason he could do that was because he borrowed $500 billion per year! That's also stealing from honest, hard working people, many of them just haven't started working yet, or haven't been born. The whole Republicans are for small gov't and Democrats are for big gov't argument is a myth. Gov't spending under Reagan, Bush I and Bush II was higher in all cases than it was it was under Clinton. And the only reason they can lower your taxes is because they don't give a shit about balancing the budget and leaving the country in good fiscal shape for us and our children. This is a good website about the growth of our national debt: http://www.cedarcomm.com/~stevelm1/usdebt.htm

yeah, im not like ZOMG MCCAIN!!!! but i just really dont like obama for obvious reasons. its going to be really tough to beat him in the fall. this election is basically the dems to lose.

on a side note, and maybe warpe can confirm this, i heard that on some of the left blogs they were ranting about how mccain never really got tortured and it was all a hoax.

I can't believe you'd even suggest that someone would suggest this. You're unpatriotic and probably a terrorist.
