GCG FTP Cliffs: Emails sent Mon/Tues, Claims can be made 9/18-11/16, SSN/TIN required, balances can be disputed, need to provide docs

Good news. My brother has some coming.

Ugh, I don't think I ever deposited using that account... I'm really hoping that either I'm wrong or that line about having to had deposited is erroneous.
  5. #5
no email here yet, but I have not received anything from GCG since the initial sign up confirmation. I do not have the email that FT was linked to on BF anymore, although I did change it with them when they re-opened.
  6. #6
They are sending them out today and tomorrow. If you get nothing by the end of the day tomorrow, I'd try to contact them.

I'm pretty sure that no one has received an email from that email list. All of these emails appear to be going out to the emails registered to the accounts.

i wonder what exactly would qualify as "docs" to dispute incorrect balances.

Thanks for trying to help, but you're British, aren't you? Why are you here?

    still no email here.
  12. #12
Received my email, which includes logon credentials. But ... there's nowhere ... on the site ... to put the credentials in? Am I missing something obvious?
  13. #13
I received mine about an hour ago. On the site: "On September 18, 2013, potentially eligible Petitioners will be able to submit a Petition for Remission through this website." I guess logins will start working tomorrow.
  14. #14
yeah, you can't do anything with it until the 18th.
  15. #15
fyi, a lot of people are saying the email is going to spam, so make sure to check that. mine hasn't shown up and also was not in spam yet, but emails are still coming through.
  16. #16
Yeah, I think ~100% are going to spam filter from what I hear. I guess mass emailing hundreds of thousands of people talking about how they can receive money from the government just so long as they give their SSN will get stopped by just about any spam algorithm in the universe.

So yes, most definitely check your spam filter. It's from [email protected] and is titled Full Tilt Claims Administration Notice, so you don't exactly need to tear your inbox apart to find it. It's either there or it isn't.

Got my email. I actually emailed them a week or two ago and got them to change my email address to my primary email because my account email was some string of random letters and digits I forgot. Provided a few details and weeee.

The more anecdotes I hear like that, the more optimistic I am. It seems that the DOJ was most if not all of the hold up. People call GCG and get a person on the phone, that person often actually has answers, and they actually work with people.

Don't want to get my hopes too high, but money by Xmas seems like a possibility, even if just a slight one.

its the 18th, but still nowhere on the site to file a claim.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Yeah, when I checked early this morning, I figured "well, they'll have it up by the start of the business day.." Yet here we are, heading for noon. Derp?
  25. #25
Site seems to be live, however when I put my Petition number in, the box is highlighted in red, and when I try to submit, it asks me to please enter a valid petition number. When I try to use my control number instead, the box is highlighted in beige. Yet if I try to use my petition number in the control number slot it is again highlighted in red. So it seems someone screwed up the coding for these entry fields.

    My optimism is fading.
  26. #26
Ok, it's an excel formatting issue most likely. If your petition number is listed as invalid, throw a zero in front of it. Naturally excel drops the zeros unless you correctly format the cells, so it was probably just a bit of a goof on their end.

My balance is listed correctly (or within the range I thought it would be, since I don't have an exact figure to work from), but I'm a bit timid about confirming this early. Kinda wanna see what other people report. Lolparanoia?

Thanks for that boost. Everyone is going to have to add a 0 it looks like. I just checked and my balance looks to be accurate. I think I'm gonna go ahead and confirm it later today

Amount was exactly as I remembered it. I didn't really play on FTP, so it's no kind of huge number, but it's about what I get on a paycheck from my day job, so ummm, yeah I'll take that. Confirmed and shipped.

Make sure you go all the way through the steps. It should ask for an electronic signature and finally a page which tells you a confirmation email has been sent. Email came instantly for me. However the first time through I was bounced back to the initial page after entering my bank info. I almost left it at that, but was weirded out by the lack of a confirmation screen/email. Went back through after reading about the electronic signature on 2p2.

Received my email in my spam box. Only about $55 there, as I did a withdraw about three months earlier. 8000 player points laid to waste.

My balance looked about right -- I also didn't know the exact amount. I confirmed/signed my petition.

fuck me. it shows my account balance as 28 cents. fuck. i panic withdrew my balance (obv. rounded to a whole number) on black friday which obv. didn't go through. Have no clue how to go about proving that.

Is there some way to log on to the FTP client to see withdraw history? I had somewhere around $250 on there, but don't know the exact number.

You should be able to download FTP client and request playing history. You could then use that spreadsheet to dispute your balance

yeah, i read about that on 2p2 after posting yesterday. didn't have time last night, but hopefully i'll do it this weekend. seems like the general concensus was to upload that, all bank statements showing you had not deposited any check, and a description of what happened should be fine. I'm not even sure the bank statements are needed though as any checks requested on 4/15/11 were never even processed and sent out.

Can't hurt to throw in the statements as well. Esp if your withdraw was before 4/15, as it is likely the money was actually sent to the third party payment processor.

I just tried to put in my petitioner for reparations of my account funds from Fulltilt. The account balance they are stating are $2.05 (laughable) The last time I was able to log into the site my balance was in excess of $2,000.00 why is there such a huge discrepancy? I know you can dispute the balance but what documentation could I possible submit to support my claim. I think I deposited roughly 3 to 4 hundred on to the site and grew my bankroll from that. I had made a few withdrawals but always kept my balance well over $1,000 and know for certain my balance was over $2,000. Is anyone else see these discrepancies with their reported account balances?

I submitted and got a confirmation e-mail...Balance was right...ship it!

Any rumors about getting money for FTP points? I'd be really happy to get 100% of my balance but still
  43. #43
From the 2+2 thread and posts from Rich Muny, it seems that they are not acknowledging the value of points or medals...

We are in the process of reviewing Petitions filed by Petitioners who confirmed their balances online and who have not disputed their FTP Account Balance or submitted multiple Petitions. We expect payments to be made with respect to such Petitions with confirmed balances by March 31, 2014.

Ugh.. I was hoping for sooner, just cuz, well, sooner is better, you know? But I guess that's really good news, and probably better than should have been expected.

Oooo what a lovely birthday present that will be. It's funny how when this first happened, I barely cared about my FTP money, so long as I got my PS account, and now I'm like, "OMG, if I get my Full Tilt check, that's like the better part of a mortgage payment!"

Man, where would I be if I didn't get my PS money in a timely manner. Probably rolling in a ditch, getting urinated on by the village's heartier homeless.
