Its called stiegel but is very hard to find more often than not. I only ever saw it at belmont beverage once and besides that its only at a local austrian pub that imports it themselves.

how does anyone drink INSERTNAMEHERE light and call it a beer? how does anyone call a light beer their favourite? how does anyone even drink a light beer period? I have almost turned down free light beer. i say almost because i may hate light beer, but im not stupid. plus there was no real beer anywhere to be found, so i had no choice. |

Im with dnuts here, when I buy beer I usually just pick a brand I know doesnt taste like shit. When it comes to good tasting beers I can rarely tell the difference. Let alone which one is which.

Corona is mexican rats piss. The reason they put that stupid bit of lime in the bottle top is to keep the flys out the beer.

yah, I agree that people just know its a dark irish beer and stuff, and it has a cool name, so they hop on the bandwagon. I cant say I was much different to start, however I do enjoy it none the less, it tastes good to me. I will check out this o'harras if I can find it, and beamish too. Well maybe not the second one.. considering the guy recommending it has a light beer in his avatar... whats up with that?

yah.. for the most part americans are extremely ignorant about beer. Most prefer tasteless crap. And since lite beers/cheap beers are popular in highschool/college, cuz you can drink a lot of them/they are cheap, most people dont seem to aquire a taste for beer, since the beer they drink has no flavor. So when they drink real beer, they think it tastes gross.
