    Earl Grey Marteani

    Falling Leaves
1 oz. Clear Creek Pear Eau De Vie
    2 oz. Trimbach Reisling
1/4 oz. Honey Syrup (equal parts of honey and water)
1/2 oz. Marie Brizard Orange Curacao
    1 dash Peychauds Bitters
    Garnish: Star Anise
Measure all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice, and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass, and garnish with the star anise. Serve cold, or allow to warm slightly for fuller flavor.

and bacardi silver/white rum is not very good, anyone know of a good white rum?
rum is a sweet booze that you might just not like.

Here's a list of some "top shelf" white rums tho:

    http://nymag.com/nymetro/shopping/co...esearch/11948/

I only use rum as a mixer (mojitos, daiquiris, cuba libres) so I don't really care if I use rotgut or not.
I'm not looking for topshelf stuff either. i've been making daiquiris with bacardi and then for the hell of it made some with the castillo silver and liked those better than the barcardi daiquiris.
these 2 from the link look interesting--> Matusalem, $16.99 and Appleton, $18.99
and both locations given are within 3 miles of my place

No but there is a place called Kalahari... right outside Sandusky, Ohio, and it is a blast... drunken watersliding indoors in the winter... awesome.

Indoor waterslides, in the winter, in Kalahari, outside Sundusky. What is this madness?

It's pretty cool, a great big building with wave pools, waterslides, even a water jet roller coaster.. .check it out... and you can drink there!

    Kalahari® Resorts : Sandusky, Ohio

That is pretty cool, though I think the chances of me ever being in Sundusky are slim to say the least.
